Pravda Restaurant, Puerto Banus
Pravda enjoys one of the best positions in the port, and its reputation is second to none for delicious cuisine and quirky cocktails. Decorated in a stylish, elegant fashion, the restaurant gives off an air of sophistication. A large outdoor terrace is great in summer, with great views over the port. The restaurant is slightly away from the busier side of the port so visitors can avoid the hustle and bustle.
An innovative menu offers delicious seasonal ingredients, and offers a wide choice of world cuisine. Every dish is labelled with its country of origin, making Pravda a truly unique place to eat. The ever changing menu means guests will never get bored with what is on offer, and there is so much to choose from.
The world starter is a must if you are visiting with a group. And is served on a wooden platter, offering different specialities from different parts of the world. If you want something lighter, choose from some tasty salads, including the Miami with lobster, pineapple, mango and cherry tomatoes and an amazing choice of sushi. If you really want to push the boat out, plump for some Beluga Caviar .. it may not be the cheapest thing on the menu but it is truly exquisite.
Main courses range from some amazing fish dishes, including the Vietnam, which is pan fried sea bass served on maki rolls and Tom Kha Gai sauce, to a grilled beef tournedos served with truffle risotto, thyme marinated cherry tomatoes, asparagus and red wine - otherwise known as The Malta.
The Mumtaz Indian Restaurant, Puerto Banus
If you fancy something hot and spicy, the Mumtaz Indian Restaurant in the Marina is a must visit venue. Something of an institution in Marbella, the Mumtaz has been welcoming guests for over 27 years.
Facing the super yachts, the restaurant has a large wraparound terrace which is ideal during the warm evenings and recently refurbished and comfortable interior, popular all year round, and a great place to dine out in winter.
The Chicken Jalfrezi is to die for, and the Mumtaz Soup, served as a starter with lentils and spices is one of the best dishes on the menu. If you want to treat yourself, order the Tandoori King Prawns. Not the cheapest dish on the menu but absolutely phenomenal ...

Los Bandidos, Puerto Banus
Los Bandidos is one of the most well known restaurants in Puerto Banus, and if the walls could talk, this buzzing venue would have a few tales to tell. The restaurant was opened in the 70´s by Jill Lindeberg and her husband as a place for his golf society 'Los Bandidos' to eat after playing golf. Los Bandidos Golf Society included some famous names from the small screen and the sporting world, including Sean Connery and Kevin Keegan were frequent visitors to this famous venue.
Today guests will still see a number of well known celebrities eating at the restaurant and enjoying the fine cuisine on offer. A delicious choice of Swedish, French and Spanish dishes are on the menu, and Los Bandidos is a must-visit restaurant if you find yourself in Puerto Banus.
La Sala Restaurant, Puerto Banus
La Sala is something of a revelation and has been one of the major success stories in Marbella in the past 12 months.
Las Sala is open from 10am to 2am seven days a week, and offers a wide choice of different areas to sit, relax, enjoy the music, eat, drink and be merry. A large outdoor terrace offers great views to La Concha Mountain.
La Sala has quickly become ´the place to be seen´ in Puerto Banus both for residents and holidaymakers. The restaurant is close to the big roundabout situated below the Nueva Andalucia Bullring, beside Kristina Szekely´s Office. La Sala enjoys a great location. Whether you fancy a light bite, breakfast or a gourmet dinner, La Sala comes highly recommended.
Spanish and international dishes feature on the menus and a private dining room caters for VIP´s and larger groups. The breakfast menu is amazing, with full english, smoked salmon, muffins, croissants, you name it .. you will find it on the menu. The Menu del Dia is just €15 for three courses and an all day bar menu is so available.
Live music is offered on different nights throughout the week, plus free valet parking which is a massive plus when you consider the charges for car parking in the Port.
The Red Pepper, Puerto Banus
The Red Pepper Restaurant offers a superb selection of fresh seafood with a Greek twist.
Situated on the front-line of the Marina with great views of the boats, this is also the perfect place for watching the world go by, and enjoying the cosmopolitan ambience of this famous Port.
Well established and enjoying an unbeatable location, this Greek Taverna style restaurant combines the finest fish and seafood with a host of typically Greek dishes and ingredients. Prices are reasonable, the service is friendly and efficient, and the food is absolutely delicious.
The Mezze (appetisers) are superb and the Greek selection of dips comprise of houmous (with chick peas, lemon and fresh herbs), taramalsalata (fish roe, extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice) and tzatziki (yogurt, cucumber, fresh mint and garlic) are complemented beautifully with a range of hot home baked bread. We also enjoyed a crisp, Greek Salad with Olives and Feta cheese. The wine list here is as impressive as the menu and the dry white Ribera Del Duero is crisp and chilled to perfection.
If you want to treat yourselves, try the Grilled Lobster as a main course - chosen from the tank inside the restaurant - this king among crustaceans could not be any fresher. Served either Grilled with Garlic, Thermidor or Boiled with Salad and Mayonnaise, the lobster was absolutely mouthwatering, and the best we have tasted in years.
A great place for a special occasion or a delicious al fresco lunch overlooking the Marina.
Route 66, Puerto Banus
Located just behind the actual marina in Puerto Banus, in the Plaza Antonio Banderas in front of El Corte Inglés, Route 66 is a fun, quirky place to eat and drink, and is fast developing a fantastic reputation.
Guests are likely to pay around €15 per head at Route 66, excluding drinks and the bar and grill offers great food at amazing prices. Route 66 is open all day, and visitors can enjoy T bone steaks, excellent home made burgers with a range of toppings, salads, scrummy desserts and much more. Also make the most of a superb cocktail menu (Try the Mai Tai, the Long Island Iced Tea, Frozen Margarita, or the ever popular Strawberry Daquiri. And if you have a favourite that´s not on the list, ask the barman and he will make it for you!
If you want to soak up the booze from the night before, try one of the bumper breakfasts, including eggs, sausages, bacon, breakfast fries and waffles, rump steam, mushrooms and all the trimmings. If on the other hand you enjoy a more health breakfast offering, try the fruit salad with muesli, the omelettes or the continental breakfast. This is a great place to bring the kids, and during our last visit, the kid´s menu was under €6. A great place for birthday parties and special occasions catered for.
The Astral Cocktail Bar, Puerto Banus
The Astral is the place to come if you want to enjoy your cocktails al fresco and the staff serve a great range of drinks, both with and without alcohol. Using the best fresh ingredients including fresh seasonal fruit, natural ingredients, fresh mint, herbs and spices and plenty of crushed ice, Astral is one of the most famous cocktail bars in the Port.
Only the best spirits and liqueurs are used to create a delicious choice of cocktails. The bar was built to look like an old sailing boat with a mast and sails, and is situated at the eastern end of Puerto Banus (direction Marbella).
